Villa Babylon Calahonda is a large Spanish style townhouse located second line from the beach in the award winning area of Sitio de Calahonda. With easy road access, public transport and parking on the doorstep, this quality accommodation is ideally suited to all types of guests and requirements with shops bars, restaurants and the beach only a 3 minute walk away. Your hosts pride themselves on offering an informal, personalised service to all guests to ensure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable stay. On the ground floor is a guest toilet, kitchen and the beautifully appointed living/ dining room with direct access to the south facing Spanish style patio area featuring barbeque facilities (available for guest use). There are 3 guest rooms available suiting different requirements: *Master Bedroom En-suite; A large south facing double/twin room overlooking the rear patio area with partial sea views from the large window. Sky TV, a fridge and Tea /Coffee making facilities are provided for your comfort. The large en-suite facilities feature a double sink vanity unit, full sized bath with overhead power shower, toilet, bidet and hairdryer. Superior Top Floor Suite; This large suite occupies the entire top floor of the property and features a vaulted ceiling, ample wardrobe space, sofa with coffee table, desk, Sky TV, DVD, Fridge, Tea and coffee-making facilities. The large patio windows provide direct access to a private south facing balcony with sensational sea views and patio furniture. The large en-suite facilities include a full-sized bath, toilet, bidet and a hairdryer. This room is ideal for families as it is large enough to accommodate a 3rd adult or children (supplement on request) or holiday makers who just wish to enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean vista. Rooms are serviced every day (Towels provided). Bed linen is changed on a weekly basis. Breakfast is provided every morning on the patio area, Lounge/dining room or even delivered to your room if you desire! All guests have free access to a large swimming pool (with separate childrens pool) with sun loungers in the gardens of Masion Alhamar complex. The tennis courts are also available for your free use. The Perfect Location! Calahonda is situated mid-way between Marbella and Fuengirola and only 25 minutes drive from Malaga airport . The bus to Marbella and Fuengirola stops just outside the complex, however your hosts can provide you with a personal shuttle service to and from the Airport, Fuengirola or Marbella/Puerto Banus at realistic prices and a lot less than taxi fares. The variety of things to do and places to see means there is something for everyone. Calahonda is a wonderful base for exploring the delights of Andalucia. Why not visit the nearby up-market town of Marbella and experience the designer shops and famous night life of the fashionable Puerto Banus only a 15 minute car ride away! The pretty white washed village Mijas Pueblo is well worth a visit and is also a short drive away. The cosmopolitan city of Granada where you can visit the famous Moorish Alhambra Palace. The cities of Seville and Cordoba are about 3 hours away. The mountain city of Ronda makes for a scenic day out and there is always Gibraltar for tax-free shopping and sightseeing.
